It has been several years since I started this blog, but I thinking it might be a good place to share pictures, thoughts, activities, etc.  I like to follow my friends on Facebook but don't use it too often.  I feel it's a big too worldly for me.  I enjoy seeing other people's post but don't add many of my own.  I'm hoping I'll have more freedom here.  I believe my blog at this point is only open to those I have invited and no one else can see it.

For those of you who have not seen my family in a long time here is a picture for last Christmas Eve at Kary and Chris's home.  I took the picture so am therefore not in it.

This picture was taken last summer or fall at the circus.  The two extra kids belong to Roni's sister.  Only two kids seemed to be aware of the bear and fortunately there was a piece of plexiglass separately them.

I have now ungone both partial knee replacements and the knees are doing great.  Can't say as much for the legs though.  My fibula and tibia on my left leg are now cooperating at all.  We're still trying to figure out why the tibia is moving thus causing the fibula to jamb.  It's really quite uncomfortable and causing some real pain if I move the wrong way.

I am loving my condo and have even figured out a way to do some gardening. Here's a picture of my front porch.

I've even planted some green beans.  Last year I grew a tomatoe, lettuce, cerrano chilies lots of herbs. This year a bought a half share in the botanic gardens garden project so should have lots of fresh veggies all summer long.

That's enough rambling for one day.   I need to do some cleaning.  Will try to get back soon.

I just returned from a fun few days in Boise, Idaho celebrating my grandson Thayne's third birthday. I had a great time with the boys and their mom and dad. Just wish they were closer so I could see them more. Braedn will soon be five and headed to kindergarden in the fall. Thayne is now three and a bundle of fun. Mom Kary is finishing her last semester for nursing although she still has some classes to take for her bachelor's. Dad Chris is headed back to school himself to become a respitory tech. Maybe someday they will be able to come back home.

Well here we are again with some new pictures to share. Here's Adara at the park today. She loves to swing and slide.

Well here I am trying for the first time to establish a blog in the new world. I have enjoyed my daughter's site as it is a great way to share the grandsons activities and achievements. Kary also enjoys scrapbooking and used her Blog to show her creations, etc. I'm not sure what I want to do with mine but here goes nothing. First let's see if I can add some pictures . That seems to have worked. Let me introduce Braedn James aged 4 1/2, Thayne Evan almost three and Adara June , 2 3/4. Grandpa and I thoroughly enjoy our grandkids although we don't get to see the boys nearly enough as they live in Idaho and we're here in Colorado. Adara lives about two miles away so we see her often, especially since we babysit her quite a bit. Thankfully she loves to come to Grandma and Poppa's house.
